It seems this is the one time that 2 for 1 is a bad thing...

Although most Canadians seem to feel this is good form I remain unconvinced. This is a situation where provinces like Alberta are able to delegate responsibility for the appalling conditions for those who are held in the Edmonton Remand. The reason that the formula of 3 to 1 is used is that the facility is operating at three times its capacity and the new Remand centre will not be complete until 2011 (at the earliest).

Anyway interesting reading to keep the legal mind sharp and a welcome shift in content from shoes, news and drivel.
