I remember how big a deal it was for me when I got to buy my first pair of Vans; they were aqua with a black stripe and I got them from Bare Cover in Az. It was the summer between grades 6 & 7 and I was sure they would help me fit in. Too bad I wore them with Jams, a green Tony Hawk shirt and rector kneepads (which I rocked around my ankles).

This book should be good, all the greats are on board - I'm looking forward to the Cardiel portion myself!
